In an effort to bring awareness to the issue of climate change, the SWP hosted Will Steger and the Longest Summer tour in Marquette. Marquette was one of many midwest cities that hosted Will Steger. This was a venue in downtown Marquette with a welcoming introduction of local polar explorers including Dan Hornbogen, Frida Waara, Judy Akkala, and Dr. Tim Hunt.
