BetterBuildings for Michigan Program - Marquette

The Superior Watershed Partnership and the City of Marquette are teaming up to bring the BetterBuildings for Michigan program to two different neighborhoods in Marquette.

WHAT THE PROGRAM INCLUDES

Participating homes will receive a variety of energy upgrades and information on local and regional rebates for appliances and other larger items.  In addition, homeowners can apply for "no money down," low interest loans for new items such as hot water heaters and refridgerators.

WHEN DOES THE PROGRAM TAKE PLACE AND WHERE?

The first neighborhood to receive these services will be in south Marquette starting Summer 2011. These neighborhood boundaries are still being determined.  The second neighborhood will be in north Marquette starting summer 2012.
